Background
Mai Maimaki is the vice president of the athletics club. She esteems Tsukushi and wants to be her successor, therefore making her hostile toward Yōto, who is another candidate of the next club president. Despite this, she also has a kind side, as she reluctantly agrees to go on a date with Yōto when being demanded to do so by Tsukushi.
